The British Gas Great Scottish Swim will take place at Strathclyde Country Park in the Clyde Valley between Glasgow and Edinburgh in central Scotland.

How to get there:
By Public Transport
Strathclyde Country Park is accessible by public transport and a bus stop is situated at the Motherwell entrance to the park.
By Rail
There are regular trains that operate direct routes from London to Glasgow and London to Edinburgh, both of which are within a 30 minute car ride from the park.
Alternatively you can alight at either Motherwell or Airbles Road stations from where you can either walk, take a bus or a 5 minute taxi ride to the park.
By Air
Glasgow and Edinburgh international airports are both within a 30 minute car ride from the park. These are Scotland’s main gateway airports and offer flights from most UK and European cities.
By Car
North Lanarkshire is situated at the centre of a first class motorway and road network linking every part of the UK.
The main M74 north-south motorway allows quick, easy access to the area. Strathclyde Country Park is situated between junctions 5 and 6 of the M74 motorway.
There are numerous car parks within the park.
